I like this version better. I had this evil scheme to rewrite and make free at last into a hit single but it was fine the way it was!!!… They both have their redeeming qualities but I’ve always been partial to this one.
Sean and I had this huge fight over this song… I was not feeling it one day and told him I didn’t want it on the album and he got all mad at me and was like “I spent 48 HOURS recording those bongos!” Recording albums is stressful :).
Now you can listen to both of them! I’m going to try and post some unreleased stuff on here once a week so check back often and tell your friends to follow us!
